WEEE and R0HS European Directives

We would like to inform that according to the requirements of WEEE and R0HS European Directives in the scope of hazardous substance restriction and electrical component marking, we commit o.s. to realize mentioned below tasks in following time limits:

2002/95/EC Directive concerning the Restriction of certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic equipment (RoHS).

  • lead (solder alloys) were eliminated in the first quarter 2006,
  • mercury – not applied,
  • cadmium – not applied,
  • exavalent chromium was eliminated in July  2006,
  • polibrominated biphenyl (PBBE’s), polibrominated biphenyl ethers (PBDE’s) were removed in applied plastics on the 1st July, 2006.

2002/95/EC Directive concerning Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

All electrical and electronic equipment introduced into production after the 14th August, 2005 are marked in a durable way by a symbol, in accordance to the Directive recommendation, Annex IV, page 41.
