Converter of PD12 type is destined for the conversion of USB interface into RS-232 interface.
In PD12 converters are used two interfaces, galvanically isolated.
- USB interface – destined for the device communication with the computer - standard compatible with USB 1.0, 1.1 and USB 2.0,
- RS-232 – interface destined for the communication with devices from the object side:
- baud rate: 1.2...921.6 kbit/s,
- galvanic isolation.
The converter does not interfere into the structure of data transmission and is compatible with many industrial communication protocols like: MODBUS MODBUS RTU, Lumbus, and the like.
The PD12 converter is a portable device supplied from the USB bus.
