Portable RTD and resistance calibrator – model VA720
The VA720 process calibrator is a precision portable source and measurement instrument (Source & Measure) designed for testing, calibration and maintenance of RTD temperature transmitters, industrial meters and controllers. The device enables measurement and simulation of 7 types of resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) (Pt10, Pt50, Pt100, Pt200, Pt500 and Pt1000 according to IEC 60751 / 385, and Pt100 according to JIS) in 2-wire (2W), 3-wire (3W) and 4-wire (4W) configurations, as well as resistance measurement and simulation over a range of 0.00 Ω to 3200.00 Ω. It features high measurement accuracy (down to 0.2°C for RTDs and 0.1 Ω for resistance), a rugged protective housing, an easy-to-read LCD display supporting °C/°F and Ω units, and the option of battery operation or an external power adapter.
