The professional VA40BT True RMS V2 digital multimeter is a modern measuring instrument featuring a 5999-count (3⅚-digit) display and exclusively wireless Bluetooth data transmission (SPP and BLE). The device does not feature a conventional wired USB interface – all communication and measurement data transfer are performed entirely wirelessly. The instrument enables accurate measurement of AC/DC voltage (up to 1000 V), AC/DC current (up to 10 A), resistance (up to 60 MΩ), capacitance (up to 60 mF), frequency (up to 1 MHz), duty cycle and temperature (−200°C to +1200°C using a K-type thermocouple). True RMS measurement ensures accurate readings of AC signals, including non-sinusoidal waveforms. The multimeter also features non-contact AC voltage detection (NCV / EF), MAX/MIN recording, relative measurement (REL), Data Hold function, automatic power-off and a backlit LCD display with 21.3 mm digit height. It offers high electrical safety ratings of CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V and is protected by industrial-grade, fast-acting ceramic fuses rated F 0.63 A / 1000 V and F 10 A / 1000 V.

Characteristic

  • Exclusively Wireless Bluetooth Communication (SPP & BLE):

    • Bluetooth SPP Mode: Wireless data transmission to Windows PCs using PC-Link software.

    • Bluetooth BLE Mode & QR Code: Wireless connection to smartphones and tablets (Android / iOS) and web browsers. Pairing is performed by scanning the QR code printed on the multimeter housing.

  • No Wired USB Interface: All communication and measurement data transfer are performed entirely wirelessly via Bluetooth.

  • True RMS Measurement and High Electrical Safety: True RMS measurement of AC voltage and current. High electrical safety ratings of CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V for industrial applications.

  • Non-Contact Voltage Detection (NCV / EF): Visual and audible indication of AC voltage presence in cables and electrical outlets (detection threshold from approx. 50 V AC).

  • Wide Measurement Ranges: AC/DC voltage up to 1000 V, AC/DC current up to 10 A, resistance up to 60 MΩ, capacitance up to 60 mF, frequency up to 1 MHz and temperature from −200°C to +1200°C.

  • Power Supply and Current Protection: Powered by a standard 9 V battery (6F22). Built-in sand-filled ceramic fuses: F 0.63 A / 1000 V and F 10 A / 1000 V.
