Lumel SA signs €5 million (~ Rs 50 Crores) contract with leading German energy company.

LUMEL SA announces that on 5 June 2025, it signed a contract with a leading Germany-based company operating in the energy sector worth €5 million. The agreement covers the supply of specialized electronic devices for supporting industrial automation in the energy sector and will remain in effect until the end of 2026, with the high probability to extend beyond 2026.

The contract is the result of several months of joint development and engineering work carried out by the teams of both companies.
It includes the delivery of customized products, designed to meet specific customer requirements and intended for use in the power sector.

“This is a highly significant contract for us – both in terms of its value and its application opening our access to the German power industry. Being chosen as product development partner and supplier confirms LUMEL’s ability to deliver complex technology projects at the highest level. We are particularly pleased to be supplying the energy sector in Germany – a country at the forefront of Europe’s energy transition.
We will be introducing additional new products into the German market  in the coming years. Taking part in this process
is a tremendous opportunity and a strong validation of our potential in the rapidly transforming energy industry
.” said Dinesh Musalekar, President of the Management Board of LUMEL SA and CEO of the Rishabh Capital Group.

This agreement aligns with LUMEL SA’s international expansion strategy and confirms the effectiveness of the company’s investments in technological development.
In May, LUMEL completed a key phase of its modernization program, by launching one of the most advanced electronics assembly lines in Europe. The investment has significantly increased the production capacity and operational flexibility of the company’s facility  in Zielona Góra.

As part of the expanding partnership, the parties are also discussing the inclusion of LUMEL’s proprietary products – current transformers and medium-voltage protection relays – in future deliveries. This would represent another step toward reinforcing LUMEL’s position as a comprehensive solutions provider for the European energy sector.
